Literacy Leadership Coaching

Effective leadership is the key to providing a clear vision for effective literacy instruction, supporting implementation, and solving potential problems along the way. Through Literacy Leadership Coaching, an SLC facilitator works side-by-side district leaders, principals, and/or literacy/instructional coaches to support their ability to advance literacy instruction within a system. Participants develop a clear vision of instruction based on previous professional development which is built upon research-based practices. In addition, they develop skills for observing classroom instruction and providing effective feedback to teachers. We provide both on-site and distance coaching options.
