Science of Reading 101 Courses

Sterling Literacy Consulting has created robust, research-based, modules that are engaging and meaningful for administrators and teachers. Our team of renowned literacy experts have come together to create courses that effectively relay the knowledge that they have acquired through more than 60 years of combined experience and multiple Doctorate degrees. Our Science of Reading 101 courses can be delivered online, in-person, or through a hybrid approach that align to the practices defined in Colorado statute and meet the READ Act Requirements along with best practices supported by the the vast body of research surrounding the Science of Reading. Our modules provide educators with the “why” behind instructional recommendations and prepare them to meet the needs of all readers in their classrooms and schools.

Foundational Sessions: Reading Instruction PK +

Sessions are provided as either full-day sessions or in shorter, more job-embedded work that range from 60 - 90 minute sessions during PLC or team meeting time.
